Vetronix introduces a Battery Test Module for the Mastertech!

December 2004 . Vetronix has just introduced a new Battery Test Module option for their popular MastertechTM Scanner. Using technology provided by Midtronics Corporation, the new Battery Test Module allows owners to perform a conductance test on a vehicles battery to determine state of charge and general condition. The test, which can be performed in less then 10 seconds will provide the technician with capacity rating of the battery to compare against its posted rating. Conductance testing today in many new car dealerships is the only recognized method for testing car batteries for warranty purposes. The Battery Counsel Institute states 13% of all battery in use today are in need of replacement.
